Balancing Heart Wedding Venue

The last few years around October we head to Girraween National Park for a camping trip with friends. Located a little bit past Stanthorpe, the area is surrounded by some of the most amazing scenery the Granite belt offers. Along with water holes and so many amazing bush walks, including the one up the Pyramids.

We spend the weekend bush walking, swimming sitting around campfires and having fun. Not far from Girraween is our favourite winery, Balancing Heart. With an awesome vibe, beautiful food and wine. I was excited to see that Balancing Heart was now setup for weddings. Including an open air reception hall overlooking the vineyard. As such I took some film photos on a point and shoot camera of the venue and the features.

Making memories

We have so many good memories of sitting on the front lawn of Balancing Heart sampling the wines, eating amazing pizzas and having fun. The kids running around playing with German shepherd (thats no longer there). But there is a bit of a petting zoo now, with a couple of highland cows and sheep in the nearby yard.

If you visit Balancing Heart you have to try their wines. Our favourite is the campfire red (which you can’t get anymore) Also they do an amazing apple pie pizza with ice cream, always a table winner with that.
