Sarah and Mitchell’s elegant black-tie wedding at Kooroomba Lavender Farm.
Set against the rolling hills of the Scenic Rim, Kooroomba Lavender Farm was a beautiful setting for Sarah and Mitchell’s wedding. With its fragrant lavender fields and long countryside views, it gave their day a romantic, relaxed feel from start to finish.
It’s a venue with a lot of rustic charm, and the natural surroundings do so much of the work. If you love the idea of getting married out in the Queensland countryside, it’s hard to beat.
The Ceremony at Kooroomba Lavender Farm
The relaxed atmosphere suited the natural beauty of the farm perfectly. Mitchell’s reaction to seeing Sarah walk down the aisle was emotional to say the least, and the hills surrounding Kooroomba framed them beautifully for the ceremony. The confetti at the end was epic, so much of it that in some shots it was hard to spot Sarah and Mitchell in the scene.
Bridal photos at Kooroomba
The grounds at Kooroomba are a photographer’s dream, with sprawling lavender fields, manicured gardens and big views of the rolling hills. They made the perfect backdrop for Sarah and Mitchell’s bridal photos. As the sun set and the festoon lights came on, we headed back to the party.
We took advantage of the unique charm of the chapel to capture some unforgettable night-time photos. And, of course, the couple danced the night away with their loved ones.
It was a wedding filled with love, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.
I feel lucky to have been part of Sarah and Mitchell’s day at Kooroomba Lavender Farm.
