Located at Johns rd, Mudgeeraba, The Acre is an ALL inclusive wedding Venue from ceremony to reception.
The Acre can accomodate the following wedding styles from Micro weddings for up to 40 people.
Ceremony only celebrations, marquee / tipi weddings and elopements.
Seating for – 130 pax
Standing for – 150 pax
On the lawn/marquee/tipi wedding – 300 pax
With a variety of ceremony locations from the dedicated ceremony deck above the stream. To Open air ceremony spot on the lawns. To that wet weather safe location of the sheltered deck alongside the reception barn. And of course inside the Barn itself.

What is the cost per head and what does it include?
All inclusive packages from $2990 includes exclusive use of the ceremony areas and 100 year old barn. Ceremony chairs , arbour , market umbrellas, reception tables and chairs, crockery , cutlery, glassware, linen and napkins all included.
What if someone has dietary requirements?
We have Italian, Mediterranean and Mexican menu options and we can cater to all dietary requirements.
As the wedding planner/functions co ordinator at The Acre, what has been your biggest challenges and what gives you the most enjoyment about your role at the venue?
Emily tells us the biggest challenge as a coordinator would have be dealing with unforeseen circumstances, such as weather and juggling last minute changes, as you always want the best for your couples. The biggest enjoyment about the role would have to be watching the groom when the bride walks down the aisle, and the love and joy that resonates throughout the night. Not going to lie, there have been a few teary moments during speeches that tugged on the old heart strings!!

we are owned by the plb group who also run and manage iconic casuarina wedding venue osteria and waterfront ancora on the tweed coast, so the group has managed over 500 weddings ACROSS the 3 venues, our team are experienced, professional and passionate.
we offer in person tours, facetime or zoom meetings and virtual 360 degree guided tours of our venue.
