How Danielle and Matthew met

We first met in 2008 working as colleagues at a bar in Lismore NSW. I thought Matt was handsome when I first saw him, then he asked me “do you know where the Riesling is?” All romance was over at that second and we were only to be work mates or so I thought…

The proposal,

I found the ring receipt 7 months prior. So to be perfectly honest I was thinking, come on Matt, hurry up and ask me because I have already planned our wedding via my Pinterest account. He proposed by taking me for a walk up to the lighthouse in Byron Bay and I stood, he knelt on a beautiful patch of grass were we had sat many times before to watch the sun rise

The Wedding at Forget Me Not Farm Byron Bay

Our ceremony and reception were at Forget Me Not Farm in Coopers Shoot. We choose Forget Me Not Farm wedding because of its beautiful scenery and it’s freedom to create our perfect day.

Louise Clark was our celebrant. Louise became our choice because she is a dear friend ours and it was so special to have someone close to us have such an important role in our day.

Having a relaxed wedding with lots of dancing and not too many formalities was what we wanted. We wanted to have a big party with all of our closet friends and family with good food and lots of drinks.

My dress was Edie from Grace Loves Lace. I chose this dress for its modest front, sexy back and beautiful lace. I had to be able to dance in it that was my one critiria.
