Our Pavilion, is an open venue on the terrace of the Summit Restaurant, boasting the very best views of Brisbane City stretching as far to Moreton Bay. Dedicated Wedding co-ordinators will assist with execution of the ceremony ensuring your married beginning is the most memorable of occasions.
What happens if it’s raining?
It is ‘oh so romantic’ in the rain at the Summit? Dark and stormy clouds are an amazing backdrop and the twinkling lights of Brisbane always ‘pop’ through the rain!
Our Pavilion can be enclosed for smaller wedding ceremonies to protect from the elements. In the event of heavy rain we can simply move the ceremony inside the heritage listed, Summit Restaurant, for a moody, romantic love declaration.

All weddings! The Summit Restaurant & Fountain View Room lend themselves to styling of all types. All weddings at The Summit pertain an individual flair. Classic, contemporary, elegant and vintage – we have welcomed them all.
How many guests can you cater for and in which style?
With a number of different venues to select from, we can cater to weddings of most sizes! Sit down – 20 – 200 guests Cocktail 20 – 300 guests!

How far in advance should couples book for Mt Coot Tha Wedding?
We have bookings 2 years in advance – however 6 months to 1 year will usually see you can book your dream date. That being said we have organised weddings with a weeks’ notice!
What is the cost per head and what does it include?
All our packages are flexible and we invite our couples to offer ideas. Our custom package starts at $89.90 per person. We also have all inclusive packages (and I mean all inclusive!) from $149 per person.

What if someone has dietary requirements?
Not a problem! Your coordinator will discuss this with you in the lead up. Our Restaurant has an exceptional kitchen team, led by an award winning executive chef who will ensure your dietary requirements are catered to the highest standard.

We have been so lucky to have the most amazing couples married at The Summit. Honestly, every wedding is a personal event for us and we strive to ensure we exceed their expectations. The Restaurant has been under the same ownership for 34 years, and the wedding team has 25 years of wedding experience between them, ensuring a wealth of knowledge as you plan your day.
