Glengariff Historic Estate is located in the Brisbane hinterlands only 45 minutes from Brisbane CBD. It allows you to escape to a world of extravagance with its beautiful homestead and stunning grounds.

What sort of a ceremony set up/ location do you have?

A wedding at Glengariff can be arranged all in one idyllic location. We can comfortably accommodate both your ceremony and reception. For your ceremony our beautiful courtyard offers intoxicating panoramic mountain,with formal gardens and classical stone arbours, located just outside the reception room. We also offer our rustic barn, situated among beautiful lush gardens, for our brides wanting something a little different.

What happens if it’s raining at Glengariff Historical Estate?

Come rain or shine! At Glengariff we understand that the weather is not always on our side. However, in-spite of this your ceremony can be held inside our beautiful vintage room with panoramic mountain views and conservatories.

What type of weddings do you cater for? And if their are any particular styles you feel suit your venue?

At Glengariff we cater to all weddings, small and large! Lunchtime weddings or Afternoon/Evening. With our menus we offer sit down alternate drop and buffets. As well as cocktail soiree’s for those wanting something a little less formal.

How many guests can you cater for and in which style?

Our sit-down packages can cater for small intimate weddings of 20 guests, up to larger weddings of 220 guests maximum. Our Cocktail soiree style packages can cater for up to 300 guests.

Some of our major attributes include, 30 stunning photo locations, an award winning venue, full exclusivity of our property for ceremony and reception, your own wedding coordinator to ensure a stress free day and a high ratio of staff to do all the set up for your wedding and waitstaff to serve all the guests!

How far in advance should couples book?

If you have that special day in mind why wait? We have couples that book up to two years in advance. We hold weddings Monday through to Sunday! Please feel free contact us for availability.

What is the cost per head and what does it include?

We offer all-inclusive wedding packages from $4990.00. This includes food, beverages, venue hire, ceremony, wedding decor, centrepieces/linen and overnight accommodation for the bride and groom! There is guest accommodation available at local BnB’s or transport options can be arranged. However, please note that we are more than happy to design a package to suit your budget and guest numbers!

What if someone has dietary requirements?

We can cater for all dietary requirements at no extra cost!

As the wedding planner/functions co ordinator at Glengariff Historical Estate what has been your biggest challenges and what gives you the most enjoyment about your role at the venue.

I believe as we are a family run business and have been for so long the most rewarding thing for Bryce and I is being able to share our family estate and heritage with our couples on the most important day of their lives. We love working together as a team and even from the beginning showing our couples through the venue it so fulfilling to see their faces light up when they do think “WOW” this is the place I want to get married or seeing them add the final touches and final details to their wedding plans. Seeing the bride walk down the aisle is probably both one of our biggest enjoyments, with many months of planning it all finally comes together to create a truly unforgettable and special day.
