Byron Bay Surf Club Wedding
Hanna and Luke’s Byron Bay Surf Club Wedding was an epic party!
Every year Luke and his family visited Byron Bay for their family holidays and each year. There would be a wedding at the beach and as kids they would walk across the road and watch it. It was slightly fitting that Luke and his family returned to Byron Bay for his own wedding.
Byron Bay has a fun relaxed Destination feel to it with everyone coming up from Sydney for the weekends celebration.
Hanna and Luke’s ceremony was at the John Knox Presbyterian Church in Byron. With a beautiful emotion filled service.
Luke had stolen a kiss as Hannah reached the end of the aisle. Even before hannah’s dad had the opportunity to hand her over. At the end of the service everyone got up to sing amazing grace. Tears streamed down Hannah’s face when at the end of the service. Everyone got up to sing ‘Amazing Grace’.
Wedding Reception
Their wedding reception at the Byron Bay Surf Club was a BBQ affair. With a Saturday afternoon gathering with friends and family feel. No straight forward seating plan everyone mingled and had fun. An afternoon storm hit during the speeches which spoilt my plans of hitting the beach for sunset. The mood of the evening was to have fun, which we did :). The side doors on the surf club were flung open after the storm had eased. Luke and a flash mop danced in the rain outside.
