Gold Coast Farm House Wedding Georgia and Isaiah

The Gold Coast Farm House Wedding Georgia and Isaiah

We were married at a beautiful Farm House on the Gold Coast, surrounded by nature and the people we love most. We chose it because it felt warm, relaxed, and genuine—just like us. We wanted a space where everyone could slow down, connect, and simply enjoy being together. It provided the perfect backdrop for a day focused on love, family, and meaningful moments rather than anything overly formal.

theme For Your Farm house wedding

Our wedding was centred around connection, love, and gratitude. Having both experienced significant loss in our lives, we are deeply aware of how precious time with loved ones truly is. We wanted the day to celebrate not only our love for each other, but also the incredible family and friends who have supported us throughout our lives.

We intentionally kept the wedding simple, focusing on meaningful details rather than extravagance. Every element had a purpose and a story behind it. We had remembrance crystal shot glasses for our guests as a special keepsake and tambourines that guests could play throughout the celebration, bringing an extra sense of fun and energy to the day.

More than anything, our theme was about capturing genuine connection and spontaneous moments. We wanted our photographer to document the moments that often go unnoticed—a simple glance across the room, a shared laugh between loved ones, guests embracing, or even a spontaneous dance around the fountain on the property. We wanted the day to feel natural, heartfelt, and authentic, creating memories that reflected the true essence of who we are and the love that surrounded us.

unique and favourite moments

One of the most special parts of the day was seeing all of our favourite people together in one place, laughing, talking, and celebrating with us. We wanted our photographer to capture the spontaneous moments—the big laughs, happy tears, warm hugs, and the little interactions that often go unnoticed. Looking around and seeing so much love surrounding us was incredibly meaningful.

Another favourite moment was wandering around the property at Gold Coast Farm House with our photographer. We could hear our wedding singers playing in the background, and at one point we spontaneously started practising our first dance. It felt so natural and perfectly captured who we are as a couple. We loved that our photographer really understood our vision and made us feel completely comfortable throughout the day.

One memory that will stay with us forever was standing beneath the beautiful big tree on the property. I remember leaning my head on my husband’s shoulder and simply taking it all in. We could see all of our guests gathered down the hill, laughing and enjoying themselves, and in that moment we realised just how magical the day truly was. Surrounded by so much love, gratitude, and connection, it was everything we had hoped for and more.

Any advice for other couples?

Focus on what truly matters to you and your partner. The day goes by so quickly, so try to be present and enjoy every moment rather than worrying about perfection. Choose vendors who understand your vision and trust them to do what they do best. Most importantly, make time to connect with each other and your guests—the genuine conversations, unexpected laughs, and shared memories are what you’ll cherish long after the day is over.
