Wedding at The Abbey Boutique Hotel Warwick – Sarah and Blayden
We had our wedding at The Abbey Boutique Hotel in Warwick. It is this beautiful old catholic school turned hotel, made of sandstone with stained glass windows and beautiful old decorations indoors. Blayden’s dad lives nearby so we had seen it on multiple occasions. And we loved the sandstone look. We were mainly looking for somewhere with a chapel and a homey dining room and this offered both of those so it was an easy pick!
The style of our wedding at The Abbey, classic and timeless. We only had our grandparents, parents, siblings and a few friends so we just tried to keep the feeling of a family dinner which was really lovely.
Apart from the obvious favourite moment, we really enjoyed one moment during photos where it was just us and our bridal party and their partners. Adam did some quick-fire personality questions, it was really nice to hear the answers and just heaps of fun.
Advice for other couples – It is easy to get caught up in the planning and details but just taking a step back every now and then to remember the purpose of the day makes all the difference.
