Tamborine Mountain Wedding Emily and Dennis
We chose to have our wedding at Mount Tamborine because we really wanted an outdoor celebration surrounded by nature. A big bonus was that our relatives live there. We spend a lot of time there whenever we’re in Queensland. So it already feels like a second home to us. The area is so beautiful and peaceful. Moreover, it provided the perfect backdrop for the relaxed and intimate vibe we were going for.
We didn’t have a set theme, but if we had to describe it, we would say it had a bit of a rustic vibe. More than anything, we just wanted to include things that reflected us as a couple. For example, since we both work in tech, our place cards were little laptops. They ended up being a fun personal touch!
One of the most unique and memorable moments was definitely our “walk-in”! It was a completely impromptu idea from our relatives. We ended up arriving in a ute instead of driving down the driveway! It was such a fun and unexpected twist that really set the tone for the rest of the day.
Our biggest advice is to relax and truly enjoy the day—it goes by so quickly! Don’t stress over the little things; everything will fall into place. And if you find yourself getting overwhelmed, definitely consider getting a wedding planner. We did, and she was absolutely amazing. Having her support made the whole experience so much more enjoyable and stress-free.
