As a photographer I love photos, I love that they can capture a moment and tell a story or part there of. It may take a couple of images to complete the picture this is why wedding albums make an awesome storytelling family heirloom.
Seeing photos of your father/ grandfather or partner giving a speech or saying a few words or vows is one thing. But hearing their voice, their tone, the way they choke up during the moment is entirely different level on photos.
Video takes your 2 dimension moment and adds movement and sound.
If your love language is words of affirmation I highly recommend having a videographer on your wedding day.
