Karina and Konnor's Classic Romantic Wedding on the Gold Coast

RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast was the perfect venue for our dream wedding. The ceremony was held in the beautiful white wedding chapel nestled in the gardens. The Convention Lobby offered an elegant and spacious reception overlooking the golf course. The majority of our guests were flying in from overseas, so we wanted a convenient all-in-one venue. Within close proximity to both the Brisbane and Coolangatta airports. Where our guests could stay for the weekend and make the most of what the beautiful Gold Coast has to offer.

We chose Clarah Luxford as our marriage celebrant because of her friendly warm nature, amazing reviews and great reputation. Clarah is super organised, caring, down to earth, a pleasure to deal with and a beautiful person inside and out. The entire ceremony was perfect and we couldn’t have picked a better celebrant to officiate our day.

The Styling of their Royal Pines Resort Wedding

For our spring wedding, we chose a simple, classic and romantic wedding theme.I wore a beautiful sweetheart strapless ivory wedding gown designed by Essense of Australia and purchased from Casar Elegance in Brisbane CBD. I fell in love with the simple yet elegant design and the delicate detail of linear lace scallops surrounded by delicate flowers.

Our wedding day at Royal Pines Resort was perfect. It was so wonderful to share the magic and love with our family and closest friends. Prior to the reception, it was really nice to share some quality time with our bridal party and enjoy the unparalleled night views of the Hinterland and Coast. Konnor and I were so surprised and moved by his family performing the Samoan dances, it brought tears to our eyes and it was extremely special.

Enjoy your special day being with all your loved ones, and most importantly take the time to be in the moment together as the day goes by so fast. We had the best wedding day and we are so blessed that Adam captured moments we would have missed. Every time we look at the photos it’s like we are right back there in the moment and are instantly overwhelmed with happy emotions.
