Tiarne and Jack got married at Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove, which is a stunning Hotel located on the Gold Coast.
Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove is one of the best places to have a wedding on the Gold Coast – it is incredibly stylish, and offers an onsite hotel so guests don’t have to travel home. Weddings at Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove are amazing, because the surroundings are absolutely amazing.

How Tiarne and Jack met

We first bumped into each other down the coast one afternoon, after he went body boarding. He would say he noticed my smile, but I didn’t take much notice of him because he had a buzz cut.

The proposal

I had an inkling that he might propose before the year ended as we were talking about it. But I totally forgot about it happening … until it happened. We went for a walk before dinner down at one of our favourite beaches on sunset. As every girl does, we start over thinking “is this happening??” and then he popped the question. I was over the moon excited and smiling from ear to ear.

The wedding at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove

We had our ceremony at the Oxenford Kingdom Hall, it was such a privilege to be able to get married there surrounded by all our friends and family. We had chosen a close friend of Jacks family to do the first talk for our wedding. It was so nice to have someone who is like an Uncle to Jack to do our talk, as it was more intimate and meaningful to us. Our reception was at Sanctuary Cove InterContinental. I had loved that place ever since I attended a wedding there once before. The way it was styled and the room was just amazing. We had in mind a dark rustic theme with lots of greenery and StyleOnQ absolutely crushed it. It was everything and more. Our ideas came to life in one room. The dress I saw my dress on the Luv Bridal website and I knew that it was the one straight away. I went and tried it on a couple weeks later and my whole family fell in love with it, so did I.

Unique or funny moments at your wedding at Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove

I cannot get the speeches out of my head. Our family and Bridal party knew us inside and out. We laughed & cried and then we laughed until we cried again. The emotions were everywhere.

Any advice for future couples
