While there was no set theme to the wedding, we wanted our reception to showcase Australian native florals and greenery as well as a soft coastal vibe.

Even though we were hoping that the rain stayed away, we felt that it added to the mood of our reception and ended up loving it! Arriving in a buggy was definitely the unique moment of our day and our favourite moment is tied between entering the reception and seeing all of our friends and family there to celebrate our marriage with us and the little kids running and playing with each other!
Advice for other couples
We know everyone says this but we really recommend taking a breath and enjoying every moment. The day goes so quickly so it’s important to stay present and not worry about the small things. In the end, everyone is there to celebrate the couple and they won’t care whether it’s raining, if there they have to walk to the reception or any other small hiccup (just make sure the drinks are flowing!).
