What makes a good elopement venue

A great elopement venue does not need a huge lawn or a grand ballroom. It needs to feel like you. When couples think about where to elope, a few things tend to matter more than size: a setting with genuine character or a beautiful outlook, the option for a ceremony only or a small group lunch or dinner rather than a full reception, somewhere relaxed enough that the day feels personal, and lovely surroundings for photos.
