Country Wedding Sara and Grant

The location we decided to say our vows was Grant’s spot of location. It is a very special spot on our property where a large group of tea trees grow and are surrounded by the mountains we have both mustered in and cattle yards.

The area is just so calming and peaceful and it just draws you in.

It’s always been a camp for the cattle to rest and I feel it also represents everything that Grant and I love. The mountains, the cattle, the land and the freedom. It’s our happy place.

We both decided to hold the “After Party” at the garage/workshop (Although with some lights and curtains you wouldn’t think it was) it just seemed to fit for us and we loved every bit of it.

Was there a theme to your wedding?

Relaxed & “Us”!

In a world where everything is set go,go. We really wanted to bring it back to just us and chill with our guests and loved ones. Take it as it comes and enjoy every moment and the humor that came with it. And we did just that.

Was there any unique moments from your day and what was your favourite moment?

I would have to say the unique moment was when we were pronounced husband and wife. There was this beautiful mist of rain that fell so lightly on us for the moment of our kiss. It was as if a cleanse of the past and the beginning of our beautiful marriage. That was truly a beautiful and unique moment.

My favourite moment was watching Grants and Marks friendship blossom. The photo they had holding hands it going to be a keeper

Any advice for other couples ?

It truly is true. “When you know, you know” and it is beautiful.
