We went for a minimalist, sophisticated, modern vibe with less being more.

We envisioned a minimalist yet sophisticated wedding with fewer frills, more elegance. The rich depth of navy that added timeless formality, while the softer peach and corals to lift it with warmth and modern charm. The ivory tones weave through it all, balancing a subtle refinement and lightness to a winter wedding.

Our favourite moments of the day were intimately sharing private vows to one another other underneath the wedding tree, joining our guests for canapés before taking off for some fun intimate snaps together with a less formal reception dinner replaced by a cocktail style set up for a more intimate space where guests could move and mingle throughout the night, and finally dancing the night away with our closest friends and family.

Any advice for other couples

Spend some special time together alone away from the crowd and formalities of the day to truly take in the moment.
Eye contact and a gentle chat during the ceremony helps to calm the nerves.
Choose a musician who can play all day for seamless transitions from the ceremony to the canapé entertainment who turns into an epic DJ. We had so many compliments on our special day about our music.
Finally, listen to and trust your photographer. This is what they do. We had such a relaxed vibe without all the overly posed awkward pics and they know where to be to capture these truly special moments.
